The “Venturi Effect” wine aerator draws in air and infuses wine as it pours. Aerating breaks down tannins to reduce astringency and brings out the subtle flavours in younger red wines. Chardonnay, Savignon Blanc and White Bordeaux will also benefit from the softening effects of aeration.

Try for yourself. Pour a small glass of red wine from a freshly opened bottle. Insert the Aerator Pourer into the neck of the bottle and pour the same amount into another glass. You will both see and hear the vortex blending air through the wine as it pours. Comparing both glasses for aroma and taste, you should find the bouquet of the aerated serving more pleasantly rounded and layered with flavour. To use the vacuum bottle stopper: Place the bottle stopper firmly into the neck of the bottle and pump the cap up and down repeatedly until firm resistance is felt. Lift the body of the
