The three graters in the Pure Komachi Series posses durable and extremely sharp stainless steel cutting edges. Cut using a photochemical machining method whereby an etching solution corrodes through selected areas to form the holes. This results in super-smooth bevelled cutting edges that cannot be achieved by traditional stamping methods, for superior grating performance & food release. Razor-like sharpness reduces the required operating force to a minimum. In addition, the substance being grated is precisely cut, not crushed, allowing the aroma and flavour to fully develop.
